10-Year Guarantee No-Sag Foam — or we replace it
Free Shipping On every order, no minimum
The Sleep Promise™ If your dog doesn't sleep on it within 14 days, we'll take it back.

The fleece cover is fully removable and 100% machine washable. Wash at 30°C with a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry. Hang to dry. Do not bleach. The foam core is protected by the Waterproof Inner Shield™ and never needs washing. Simply wipe with a damp cloth if needed.

We stand behind every bed we make. If the foam core ever sags, loses its shape or stops taking pressure off your dog's joints, we will replace it. No questions asked. That is our 10-Year No-Sag Guarantee, because a bed that has flattened out no longer relieves anything.

Canine Ortho was built by owners of arthritic dogs, for owners of arthritic dogs. We created this bed because we could not find one that actually addressed what makes an arthritic dog different. Inflamed joints. Fourteen hours a day spent lying down. A body that struggles to get back up. Every detail of this bed exists for a reason. One condition. One bed. Done right.

What Dog Parents are saying

★★★★★

"Cooper was taking forever to get up in the mornings. Ten, fifteen seconds of trying before he was on his feet, and he'd be stiff for the first half hour. Our vet said the arthritis was there and the hard floor wasn't helping. Two weeks on this bed and he's up on the first try. The stiffness in the mornings is a fraction of what it was."

Why Even "Orthopedic" Beds Make Arthritis Worse

Anyone can print "orthopedic" on a label. Almost nobody measures what happens underneath the dog.

Pressure On Worn Joints

Most beds sold as orthopedic use low-density foam that collapses under a grown dog. His hips, shoulders and elbows press straight through to the floor — for fourteen hours a day. Inflamed joints under constant pressure are why he wakes up stiff and takes ten seconds to stand.

Standard "Orthopedic" Bed
Pressure map standard orthopedic dog bed

The Arthritis Relief Solution

We measured ours with an FSA pressure sensor — the same technology used to prevent bedsores in human patients. High-density memory foam holds his weight instead of letting it sink, and pressure is lifted off the joints and spread across the body.

Find His Size

Four sizes, built to the same standard. When in doubt, size up — a dog with stiff joints needs room to stretch out.

Size Dimensions Weight Examples

The Science of Arthritis Relief

Five layers. Each one solving a problem most dog beds ignore entirely.

The Arthritis Relief Bed layers
01

Warm-Touch Fleece Shell™

Soft fleece that holds gentle warmth against stiff joints, exactly where he needs it most in the early morning. Fully removable and 100% machine washable — off in seconds, back on clean.

02

Support Bolster™

A raised edge that cradles the head and neck instead of leaving them flat on the surface. Most dogs sleep with their head lifted — this one gives them something to rest it on.

03

Waterproof Inner Shield™

A sealed barrier between the cover and the foam core. Accidents, spills and moisture never reach the layer that does the work, so the bed keeps its structure for years instead of months.

04

Pressure-Relief Core™

High-density viscoelastic memory foam that responds to body heat and weight. It holds him up instead of letting him sink through to the floor, lifting pressure off hips, shoulders and elbows. Measured, not claimed.

05

Non-Slip Safety Base™

A rubberised grip base anchors the bed to any floor surface. When he pushes himself up on unsteady legs, the bed stays where it is instead of sliding out from under him.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

The 10-Year No-Sag Guarantee covers the Pressure-Relief Core™ memory foam against permanent flattening or sagging greater than 1 inch under normal sleeping use. If the foam loses its orthopedic shape within 10 years, we replace it. No lengthy processes. No excuses. A bed that has flattened out no longer takes pressure off anything — which is exactly why we guarantee it for a decade. Please note the guarantee covers the foam core only and does not extend to normal wear and tear on the outer cover or damage caused by aggressive chewing.

Washing takes about 60 seconds of effort. Simply unzip the fleece cover using the dual zippers and pull it off. Toss it in the washing machine on a cold, gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Hang to dry. That is it. The memory foam core itself never needs machine washing — it is protected by the Waterproof Inner Shield™, so nothing soaks through to the layer that does the work. If it needs a refresh, simply wipe it down with a lightly damp cloth. Clean cover, protected foam, hygienic bed.

Go by your dog's weight first, then check the dimensions against how he actually lies down. The size chart above lists weight ranges and example breeds for each of the four sizes. If your dog falls between two sizes, size up — a dog with stiff joints needs to stretch out fully, and a bed that forces him to curl up works against the whole point. If you are unsure, message us with his breed and weight and we will tell you which one to order.

Completely. The high-density viscoelastic memory foam used in the Pressure-Relief Core™ is medical grade, non-toxic and rigorously tested. It is free from heavy metals, formaldehyde and ozone depleting substances. We would never put anything near your dog that we would not trust ourselves. Your dog sleeps on this every night and their safety is non-negotiable.

Most dogs settle in within a few days. Some take to it immediately, others need a little time to get used to a surface that feels firmer than what they are used to — that firmness is exactly what keeps them from sinking through to the floor. Put the new bed where the old one was and let him find it in his own time. If he still will not use it, our 30-Night Sleep Promise covers you: send it back and we refund you in full.

She gets up without that horrible shuffle now

Willow is 9 and was diagnosed with arthritis earlier this year. Watching her struggle to stand up in the mornings was heartbreaking. Two weeks after switching to this bed, the morning shuffle is almost completely gone. She gets up, stretches, and walks off like herself again. I didn't expect such a visible difference from a bed.

He's walking to his bowl by himself again

Bruno stopped whimpering at night after about 10 days. Before this, he'd pace and whine and couldn't get comfortable. Now he settles immediately and stays put until morning. Our vet said the sleeping surface was one of the most underestimated factors in managing joint pain. I believe it now.

The best decision for our senior dog

Bella is 13 and her hips have been giving her trouble for years. I researched for months before buying anything. This is the only bed I found where the foam genuinely holds without collapsing under her weight. She goes in and out on her own now. That sounds small but it is enormous for us.

My husband was the skeptic. Not anymore.

He thought spending this much on a dog bed was ridiculous. But after two weeks of watching Milo actually get through the night without crying out, he stopped saying anything. The leg shaking in the mornings is less. He still has arthritis but he is visibly more comfortable and that is all I wanted.

Sleeps deeply for the first time in months

Coco has arthritis in her back legs and used to reposition constantly through the night. Since this bed she sleeps completely still for hours. Her mornings are noticeably different. She walks to her bowl without hesitating the way she used to. I only wish I had found this sooner.

Our vet specifically mentioned sleep surface quality

At Heinz's last checkup our vet brought up that hard flooring and unsupportive beds make arthritis significantly worse overnight. We ordered this the same day. He is 11, moving better than he was six months ago, and getting up on his own in the mornings again. The timing is not a coincidence.

After the scare we weren't taking chances

Oscar had an acute episode two months ago where he couldn't get up at all. We thought we were facing the end. The vet said his sleeping conditions were contributing significantly to the joint load. This bed was the first change we made and within three weeks he was walking to the door to go outside on his own again.

Fast shipping, impressive packaging

Arrived quickly and the vacuum pack was tight and professional. The foam expanded exactly as described. By the next morning it was full and perfect. Luna approved immediately and has slept there every night since.

Took 48 hours to fully expand but worth it

It arrived very flat and I panicked. But I gave it the time the instructions specified and it came out perfectly. The foam is genuinely dense and supportive. Rocco settled straight into it and the stiffness he shows after a night on the old bed is noticeably less now.

Premium quality you can feel immediately

The linen is thick and the foam is heavy. Nothing cheap about it. I've tried three other orthopedic beds over the past two years and none of them held shape. This one still looks brand new after two months. Max deserves this and I feel good knowing he is properly supported every night.

Claudia R.✓ Verified BuyerMar 25, 2026
She stopped panting at night

Rosie was panting constantly at night even with her pain medication. Our vet said it was a sign she wasn't getting comfortable enough to actually rest. Within a week on this bed the panting stopped. She is sleeping through quietly for the first time in months. That alone is worth everything.

Worth every cent — and I was a skeptic

Yes it is expensive for a dog bed. But I thought about what we've already spent on gabapentin, supplements, laser therapy, and vet visits that barely moved the needle. The memory foam is genuinely medical grade, the cover is machine washable, and the base does not slip. Nothing else we tried came close. And Fritz actually gets up by himself now.

Patrick B.✓ Verified BuyerMar 27, 2026
The warmth stays in — that matters for joint pain

Edgar gets stiffer when it's cold. I used to put the bed next to the radiator and pile blankets on him. This foam retains warmth through the night on its own. He wakes up looser than he used to and that stiff shuffle in the first few minutes after rising has mostly gone. The cold weather makes so much less difference now.

Elisabeth M.✓ Verified BuyerMar 27, 2026
No regrets at all

I kept going back and forth on the price. Then I thought about what another vet visit and another medication change would cost. Spent the money on the bed. Zero regrets. Oskar is sleeping deeply, getting up with less effort, and his mornings are completely different. I didn't know a bed could do this.

Hans J.✓ Verified BuyerMar 26, 2026
She handles all sleeping positions now

Bella sleeps stretched out, curled, and on her side depending on how her joints feel. Every other orthopedic bed we tried left pressure points in at least one position. This one handles everything. The foam responds and holds regardless of how she ends up. Her mornings are clearly more comfortable.

Laura E.✓ Verified BuyerMar 26, 2026
Noticed a real difference in how she walks

Frodo was getting stiffer every morning. Since switching beds, within three weeks the morning stiffness is dramatically better. She moves with much more ease and the hesitation at the stairs is almost gone. I cannot say with certainty it is only the bed, but the timing lines up perfectly with nothing else changing.

Sophie Muller✓ Verified BuyerMar 25, 2026
Noticed a difference in one week

Charlie used to wake up multiple times a night and shift constantly. One week on this bed and he sleeps straight through. He moves more freely in the mornings and his leg doesn't shake the way it did after a night on the old surface. The memory foam is actually doing what the description says it does.

Michael T.✓ Verified BuyerMar 24, 2026
Beautiful design and it actually works

The linen looks genuinely elegant and blends into our home without looking like medical equipment. But the design is secondary. What matters is that Coco's arthritis mornings are measurably better. She gets up on her own now. I didn't expect both things — nice to look at and actually functional — from the same product.

Vera S.✓ Verified BuyerMar 24, 2026
My worry about her nights is finally gone

I spent months trying supplements that took too long to work, medications that made her loopy, and three different beds that all compressed flat within weeks. This bed held shape and she stopped whimpering at night within ten days. Her vet commented at the last visit that her mobility looked better. This is the one thing that actually moved the needle.

Stefan K.✓ Verified BuyerMar 23, 2026
I wish I had started with this instead of the supplements

Our vet specifically told us that supportive sleep is part of managing arthritis and that most owners underestimate it. I wish someone had said this two years and several hundred euros in supplements ago. Fritz is 2 and already showing early signs. We are starting the right way now.

Heike V.✓ Verified BuyerMar 22, 2026
The design is backed by real reasoning

I read up on canine joint pain management before buying anything. Everything this bed addresses — pressure distribution, temperature retention, surface resistance — is consistent with what veterinary sources say about sleep and arthritis progression. It is not marketing. Baguette has been moving noticeably better for two months now.

Richard Fontaine✓ Verified BuyerMar 22, 2026
She chose it immediately

Lilly usually avoids new beds for days. She walked straight up to this one, sniffed it, and got in. She has slept there every single night since. Either she just knows it is better or the foam is genuinely more comfortable than anything else. Either way the mornings are easier and that is what we needed.

Jonas B.✓ Verified BuyerMar 22, 2026
This foam is the real deal

I pressed down expecting the same cheap memory foam every other orthopedic bed uses. It did not feel the same at all. It is dense, it holds, and it responds to warmth the way a proper mattress does. Theo has arthritis in his hips and he sank in and settled immediately. He has not slept elsewhere since.

Rebecca Z.✓ Verified BuyerMar 21, 2026
Both our dogs are more active during the day

We have two dogs with joint problems and bought two of these. Both sleep better and both are noticeably more mobile during the day. The connection between a good night's rest and how much energy they have the next morning is remarkable. I had underestimated it completely.

Dirk O.✓ Verified BuyerMar 20, 2026
Five months in and still performing perfectly

The linen has held through at least 20 washes. The foam has not compressed at all. Greta digs at it every single night before settling and the fabric shows no wear. For a dog with arthritis where the bed is doing real structural work every night, this durability matters enormously.

Christine Bauer✓ Verified BuyerMar 19, 2026
The morning stiffness is almost gone

Mila is 7 and her back and hips were starting to cause her real trouble. That stiff painful shuffle she did every morning for months is mostly gone. She still has arthritis but she wakes up and moves as if the night actually helped instead of making things worse. I wish we had found this sooner.

Ursula G.✓ Verified BuyerMar 19, 2026
Worth every euro — different dog in the mornings

I read every review before buying and was still hesitant. Now I am writing this review so the next person does not hesitate. Oskar sleeps 10 hours and wakes up happy and mobile. He wandered to his bowl and back without help this morning. That is the outcome I needed and this bed delivered it.

Clara N.✓ Verified BuyerMar 18, 2026
Solid construction — does not bottom out

Everything about this bed is premium. The stitching is tight, the linen is thick, and the foam does not compress even under our 38 kilo dog. Other orthopedic beds we bought all lost their structure within a few weeks. If the foam collapses it stops being therapeutic. This one has not.

Florian M.✓ Verified BuyerMar 17, 2026
Finally stopped worrying about what the night is doing to her joints

Lola's arthritis was getting worse through last winter. I knew the cold floor was not helping but finding anything that actually kept warmth around her joints was impossible. This bed does it. She sleeps deeply, wakes up warmer, and the morning stiffness is dramatically less. The difference when it got cold again this year was immediately visible.

Hannah Vogel✓ Verified BuyerMar 16, 2026
Three weeks in — she is a different dog in the mornings

I did not realize how much the sleeping surface was contributing to her joint pain. Mia is 10 and has hip arthritis. Three weeks on this bed and she gets up without help, walks to the back door, and comes back without hesitating on the step. Small things. But they are the things I thought I had lost.

Nina P.✓ Verified BuyerMar 15, 2026
The flat arrival worried me — be patient

When it arrived it looked completely deflated and I nearly sent it back. After 24 hours it expanded perfectly and looks exactly like the photos. The foam is genuinely impressive once it is fully out. Just be patient after unboxing. It is worth the wait.

Kathrin F.✓ Verified BuyerMar 13, 2026
Bought two for both our dogs

Both have joint problems and both were struggling with the same cold-surface mornings. Ordered two at once. Both expanded perfectly. Both dogs claimed their bed immediately. Oscar has stopped whimpering at night and Remy is getting up on his own again in the mornings. Different dogs, same result.

Jessica and Mark Thompson✓ Verified BuyerMar 13, 2026
Washing is easy — and that matters for sick dogs

Dogs with health issues create more mess. The cover comes off in seconds and comes out of the machine looking new every time. That alone puts this ahead of every other orthopedic bed we tried. Clean bed, less stress, and the foam underneath is doing its job properly regardless.

Markus D.✓ Verified BuyerMar 11, 2026
Exactly what I had been searching for

I had been looking for months for a bed specifically designed to address joint pain support rather than just labeled orthopedic. The foam density here is genuinely different from generic options. Ziggy had been waking up stiff and reluctant to stand. Two months in, he jumps up from the bed on his own again. That is the win.

Olivia Schmidt✓ Verified BuyerMar 10, 2026
Looks beautiful and doesn't announce itself as a medical product

I was worried that anything orthopedic would look clinical and out of place. The linen finish is genuinely elegant. Several guests have asked where it is from. More importantly Bruno actually rests deeply on it and his joints are clearly less stiff in the mornings than they were before.

Sophie L.✓ Verified BuyerMar 9, 2026
The cover is genuinely practical for daily life

The linen does not trap hair the way soft fabric beds do. I zip it off, wash it, and have it back within a few hours. For a dog with health issues who spends most of the day resting, a hygienic easy-to-clean surface is not a nice-to-have. Duke is cleaner, his bed is cleaner, and he is more comfortable. All three at once.

Natalie Brown✓ Verified BuyerMar 7, 2026
So relieved we found this

Charly had his first arthritis flare at age 4 and the vet said his sleeping surface mattered enormously for how fast it progressed. This bed gave me genuine peace of mind. The foam is firm but not hard, and he seeks it out on his own now rather than lying on the floor or the sofa cushions. That shift told me everything.

Peter H.✓ Verified BuyerMar 7, 2026
She jumped up on my lap for the first time in months

Emma has hip arthritis and had stopped jumping onto anything. After six weeks on this bed she jumped up on the sofa next to me without hesitating. I sat still for five minutes because I didn't want to break the moment. Small wins are enormous when you have been watching decline for a long time.

Anna W.✓ Verified BuyerMar 4, 2026
Skeptic turned believer — completely

I thought this was overpriced marketing. My wife ordered it anyway. I have now told four other dog owners about it. Pancake is sleeping through the night for the first time since his diagnosis. His morning energy is noticeably different. I was wrong and I'm glad my wife ignored me.

Perfect for our senior dog with bad hips

Madeleine is nine years old and her hips have been a concern for years. Our vet suggested a proper orthopedic bed as part of managing her joint health overnight. The memory foam in this one is genuinely different from the cheap options we had tried. She gets in and out more easily and the mornings are clearly less stiff for her.

Exceeded my expectations completely

I was skeptical about spending this much on a bed. The moment I felt the foam I understood. Biscuit is 11 with arthritis in three joints. She burrowed in on day one and has not left it since. The whimpering at night is gone. She is still not 100% but she is measurably better and that is more than I expected.

He chose it straight away

Usually Churro needs days to accept a new bed. He walked up to this one, sniffed it twice, and got in. Either he senses it is better or the foam is genuinely more comfortable. Either way he has slept there every night since and his mornings are different. I'll call that a win.

Best purchase I have made for his joint health

Hugo has had sensitive joints since he was young and the progression was worrying me. Since switching to this bed he sleeps so much more deeply. He wanders to the door on his own in the mornings now. The quality is real and the difference is real. Worth every cent for the peace of mind alone.
